Summer Learning

Make the Most of Summer

Summer gives students time to strengthen skills, get ahead, and prepare for what's coming next—without the pressure of a full school schedule.

Whether your student wants to stay sharp over the summer, complete an online course, prepare for a challenging class, work toward a stronger SAT score, or get an early start on college applications, we can help create a summer plan around their goals.

What Can Your Student Accomplish This Summer?

Keep Learning
& Stay Sharp

A long break from academics can make the transition back to school more difficult. Summer tutoring helps students maintain important skills and address areas that may need extra support. It also gives students time to strengthen their foundation without the pressure of a full school schedule.

Good for students who want to:

  • Strengthen skills from the previous year

  • Fill gaps before they become more challenging

  • Maintain math, reading, and writing skills

  • Begin the new school year feeling prepared

Complete an
Online Class

Summer can be a great time to complete an online course—whether a student needs to retake a class or wants to free up room in their schedule for more advanced coursework.

Our tutors provide in-person support alongside online courses, helping students understand difficult concepts, work through questions, and keep pace with accelerated summer coursework.

Before enrolling: We recommend checking with your student's school counselor to confirm that the course and credit will be accepted and will appear on the student's transcript as expected.

Preview the
Year Ahead

Previewing key concepts before school begins can make a big difference, especially for courses that students expect to find challenging.

A tutor can introduce foundational material, review prerequisite skills, and give students an early look at concepts to help start the school year with confidence.

Especially helpful before courses such as:

  • Algebra 1 & 2

  • Geometry or Precalculus

  • Chemistry

  • Physics

  • Honors & AP courses

Prepare for the SAT

Summer offers the time and flexibility to build skills and confidence for the SAT. Our SAT Summer Program provides structured, small-group instruction, practice testing, and flexible enrollment around your summer plans.

Write College Essays

Use the summer before senior year to brainstorm, write, and revise your personal statement and supplemental essays before school starts and deadlines add pressure. Our individualized coaching helps students develop authentic, compelling essays.
